Year 1 pupils have been greatly encouraged by Ms Higgins’ inspiring words, ‘Be 10% braver”. For the first time ever, the Year 1 learners are joining in with Eastbrook Primary’s termly assesment cycle. This means that they get to show off how much learning they have retained since coming into Year 1 by completing special ‘showing off’ booklets. This can be quite daunting and a bit overwhelming, but as expected, the children have really drawn on their inner character virtues and have shown perseverance, resilience and now courage in abundance. No tears, no fear and no, “I can’t” makes Mrs Turner a super proud teacher.
